All meetings begin 7:00 PM at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, 1000 North Beltline, Grand Rapids, MI
 

September 10, 2009 - Wayne Robert from Robert’s Floral Supply - Potting mixes, history, uses.

October 15, 2009 - Marcia Betts - Miniature Oncidiums in Costa Rica

November 12, 2009 - TBA - We may hear from the new Indoor Hort Manager - Rachel at Meijer Gardens!

December 17, 2009 - Annual Christmas Party at FMGS, 6:30 pm.  Set-up is at 6:00 pm.  Bring your own table setting and your dish to share.
 

January 21, 2010 - Planning and setup for annual orchid show at FMGS
 

February 18, 2010 - Members Home Orchid Growing Set Ups - Power Point presentation with commentary by each person whose set up is profiled. We will be asking for digital pictures to be sent to Jill by January 1, 2010. The idea is to have as many people as possible participate. If you have a single window sill or a commercial type greenhouse, or anything in between, you are encouraged, to participate. Start taking those pictures and send them to Jill Wood

March 18, 2010 - (date may change) - Ernie Gemienhardt from Enlightened Orchids - Either Paphiopedilum Culture or Growing under Florescent Lights
